The process of Interior Design is about listening, learning, and exploring together as we make selections to create your project. It could be one room or several, but the process is the same. Often along the way, a synergy develops between us, and then the design process takes on its own momentum: the decisions become easier, and things just seem to flow naturally.

My goal is to provide you with a look that resonates with YOU! I expect to be working with many of your furnishings, and I will introduce new elements that accent and coordinate with these pieces in ways that you have not considered. That is what I enjoy most about design! Each home offers different challenges and opportunities for a great design! I do have a caveat, however, and it is that ultimately it is your home, and you will be living there long after I am gone–so if you can’t “see” it or don’t like it — I will find a different concept, style or color. I am creative and have many ideas and want you to have what works for you!

My expertise is in blending the old with the new, and less expensive elements with more expensive pieces in a subtle weaving of textures, color and styles that is innovative, yet comfortable and functional. I want the eye to wander and  to wonder — and be delighted in the setting we create together.

I do charge $150 for an hour to 1.5 hour consultation. When we go to contract I reduce this amount from my design fee. It is a win-win situation: you will receive ideas and suggestions for design with no obligation. I work with licensed craftsmen and contractors.I manage their work!
